Maria Skaf has over thirty years of experience in accounting and finance. A Cuban native, she was raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Georgia to attend college. Ms. Skaf earned a degree in Applied Mathematics, with a dual Minors Computer Science and Business, from Georgia Tech. She also has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. Throughout her career, Ms. Skaf has worked with fortune 500 companies, such as IBM and FedEx. After leaving corporate America, she owned and operated an international printing business based in Miami. Ms. Skaf and her husband own a restaurant in Lebanon, where she visits frequently. A proud mother, Ms. Skaf’s son is a student at Cornell Medical School.
